Dennis M. Baptista
As a Certified Workers' Compensation Attorney with over two decades of experience, Dennis Baptista has earned a well-deserved reputation among the compensation bar for being a respected practitioner of great integrity and skill. Mr. Baptista has successfully litigated numerous and complicated workers' compensation cases including claims involving accidental injuries, occupational diseases, repetitive motion injuries, total permanent disability, and work-related death. A leader in the community, Mr. Baptista was recently appointed to a three-year term as a judge in the Phillipsburg municipal court and just completed a ten-year term as Commissioner of the Phillipsburg Housing Authority. Mr. Baptista began his career with the Javerbaum firm in 1985 as an Associate handling primarily workers' compensation litigation. From 1987 to 2003, he practiced in Elizabeth, NJ, with Franz & Baptista, PC, where he developed a statewide, high-volume workers' compensation litigation practice. He is currently Chairman of the firm's Workers' Compensation Department.
