Rubin Sinins
Rubin Sinins is quoted and cited as representing the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey (ACDL-NJ) as amicus curiae in the case of State v. Reid now pending before the New Jersey Supreme Court.  The case concerns whether there is New Jersey Constitutional protection for internet service provider (ISP) subscriber information, and whether the Court will affirm the Appellate Division's conclusion that there is, under the New Jersey Constitution, a right to "informational privacy."  The case further implicates the New Jersey Wiretap Act and whether the suppression remedy is appropriate in criminal prosecutions for law enforcement's improper acquisition of ISP subscriber information.
